ABOUT US
BAA Mechanical Engineers, Inc. knows that architecture is more than designing buildings. We work with our clients to design memorable spaces.
BAA Mechanical Engineers Inc., formerly Britt Alderman Associates, is a Consulting Engineering Firm in the midtown Atlanta area specializing in HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Protection design. The firm was established in 1946 by Britt Alderman Jr, who worked with architect John Portman, among others, to create in many ways the downtown modern Atlanta skyline. The present management team of Jeff Lee, P.E. and Jeff Powell, along with associates, ensures that we are small enough to allow the principals of the firm to be directly involved on a day-to-day basis in every project, and yet sufficient in size to handle large complex projects and meet tight deadlines.
BAA has a LEED Accredited Professional certified by the U.S. Green Building Council which is the nation’s foremost coalition of leaders from across the building industry working to promote buildings that are environmentally responsible, profitable, and healthy places to live and work. The firm takes seriously its responsibility to the environment in which we work and live. To date, the firm has been involved with five projects which have obtained, or are in the process of obtaining LEED certification.
Traditional Architect-driven projects, Design-Build, or working directly for the building Owner, BAA adapts to your needs to get the project completed on time and within budget.
BAA is a customer-oriented firm that provides great service while producing a well-designed and coordinated project. Our experience allows us to identify problems and solve them during the design phase rather than in the construction phase.
Proficient in BIM modeling and traditional AutoCAD.
